“To build on this for safer, more inclusive communities: Budget 2026 proposes to provide $60 million over four years, starting in 2027-28, and $15 million ongoing to renew funding under the Federal 2SLGBTQI+ Action Plan, which supports community-based projects, public awareness, research, and the 2SLGBTQI+ Secretariat.”
